Robin Rive, award winning bear artist, has been creating and selling teddy bears to collectors since 1973.
Our award-winning bears travel to bear lovers all over the world from their home in New Zealand.
Oakdale Farm is so named after the eleven majestic English Oaks dotted around the property and lining the old Clevedon road, which used to pass through Oakdale. This is where many Robin Rive designs were dreamt up and created, however after a studio fire, a few years ago, which destroyed nearly everything, Robin 'thew down the bear gauntlet', to have more time tending the organic olive grove, making fabulous frogs out of the Oakdale clay in her new Potting Studio.
There are still however, a limited number of gorgeous hugsters for you to adopt from our pevious ranges and some new exciting faces for you to see. We are not making anymore and our bear numbers are now running low.
If you love us, please do move quickly to adopt so you don't miss out, as we only have one of each Hugster we present. We'd hate you to miss out as once they are gone, they are gone!
After returning from the UK, Robins' daughter, Brigitte, created an additional site (www.kiwicurio.com) using the last of our rescued bears. They've been given a new lease of life for a 'vintage-style', aged bear range Plus lots of exclusive One of One characters using pieces from her travels that you can personlise.
Subscribe now at www.kiwicurio.com to get the latest updates and take home final numbers of ' hard to get' limited edition bears from older ranges.
