International Award-winning New Zealand bear-artist, Robin Rive creates wonderful, handmade, nostalgic soft collectibles, sold mainly in Europe and the Southern Hemisphere.
After over 30 years in business we are very proud that all Robin Rive's soft collectables are still 100% designed and made in New Zealand. This gives us complete control over quality and although each face in an edition looks the same, hand-stuffing and hand embroidery give each bear its own special character.
Robins distinctive RR signature is found on the Right Paw-pad of all our limited bears. Editions are kept low with club exclusives often being kept below 30.
This year is the 125th anniversary of Oakdale farm, the home of the Robin Rive hug. At Oakdale farm we grow the organic wool, sweet smelling lavender, aromatic cedar wood and a variety of organic herbs used to enhance Robin Rive bears.
To mark the occasion, picturesque, vintage 'Acorn Cottage' has been renovated at Oakdale Farm as a delightful museum for the Robin Rive hug. Here, in this charming setting, our bears will enjoy their well-earned retirement.
