This product is hand-made in New Zealand, and is designed by teddy bear artist Robin Rive.
It is a Collectible item with a Limited Edition Number and is made from the finest mohair.
The process to create the unique natural fabric used in Robin Rive products was developed more than 100 years ago. Mohair is considered the finest and most long lasting material for collectible teddy bears. The fibre is shorn from mohair goats which is then spun into thread. The thread is tufted into strong linen backing and the fabric is, curled, waved, brushed or distressed to create a dazzling array of colours and textures. The fabric is rested on racks for two months to stabilise before being sent to Robin Rive, to be made into an Irresistible selection of teddy bears and other lovable companions for you.
